We strive to live out our core values by how we engage with community as well as how we operate internally. Ultimately, the funding we disburse to grantee partners does not belong to us. The sale of a community hospital created our endowment; thus, this money belongs to the region it once served.  

Congruent with our values, mission, and vision of change, we are merely stewards of these community resources and reflect that in our grantmaking and how we invest our endowment.  

Our Chief Financial Officer works closely with our outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) and Finance Committee, chaired by our Treasurer, a member of our Board of Directors, to carry out this stewardship.
