HCF Recognized by Chicago Mayor’s Office For Women’s History Month

The Chicago Mayor’s Office recognized our President Maria Pesqueira and Healthy Communities Foundation’s contributions to advance health and wellness at their Women’s History Month Community Champions virtual event on March 30th. The evening highlighted various leaders in Chicagoland who have gone above and beyond to advance gender equity. 

As an all-women staff, we were honored to have received this recognition, presented by Rachel Arfa, Commissioner of the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities. You can watch this segment starting at 50:50.
