Summer Application Form

The Hartford Courant Foundation makes small ($500-3,000) grants for summer programs each year.  We seek to fund programs that have some educational value, provide recreational activities, and reach children who otherwise may not have opportunities to fill their free hours in the summer.

Applications are due by 3:00 pm, March 1
Applicants will receive responses by the end of March.

Final Report Form

This form is due one year after the grant is made or when the project is completed, whichever is sooner. New applications for funds cannot be considered until we have received the final report on previous grants.

Interim Report Form 

The interim report is for use by applicants who have received two year commitments.  At the end of the first year, the Foundation would like to hear about progress of the program being funded.  Please complete the enclosed form and send it along with a request for the disbursement of the second year of funding.
